Mini club
Vicki and Betty will be starting a "mini-club", this club is for everyone that loves smaller quilts. We will be making 2 - 16"x 20" quilts every month, each using 5 FQs; this will make the top and the backing for each of the quilts. This club will meet 5ishpm-8ishpm. Bring your machine and sewing supplies. Club fee of $15.00 per month includes both patterns and will start in July and meet on the second Thursday of every month. |
Washtub Club II
Your favorite quilt shop is about to take you on a nostalgic journey. After 70 years, fabrics from the 1930's still have a broad appeal. How we love to look at quilts from that era, study the patterns that were disseminated through newspaper columns, admire the sewing projects created, and collect reproduction fabrics that take us back to that simpler time! Now you can relive that feeling once a month when you join our Wash Tub Club. At each meeting, you'll be transported back in time. You'll hear the stories for The Ethel May Quilt Club, and learn what the ladies of the day were doing. You'll join them in making quilts with reproduction fabrics that have the feeling of that earlier era.
We will be meeting the last Tuesday of each month from 6-8, or the last Saturday of the month from 10-12. Last year we offered Washtub Club I, this club will operate on the same principle, but with different projects.
Each month you will pay $10 and receive 4 fat quarters of 1930's fabrics and a project sheet. Wash Tub Club II will offer patterns to make quilt blocks that can be made into full size quilts all using reproduction fabrics. Join the fun and sign up today! |
